"Aaaaaargh! I was born! My mother suffered immensely as I tried to hang myself on the umbilical cord. But fortune was at hand and I was rescued from my pre-natal urge by the steady hands of a gay, south african doctor. Did I mention, it was raining?
Years passed. I made things out of paper that cut my hands and I slowly learned to cook until I could make fajitas.
Sometime around all of that I picked up a piano. This nearly broke my bloody back so I stopped doing it and started playing the bass guitar instead.
Later on, I realised that unbeknownst to me, I had inadvertantly learned to play the guitar as well. This came as a welcome shock and at once I set about writing terrible rock music. What can I say? I was only fifteen.
So no cool and interesting musical diversity? No, I doubt it. A bit of early Beatles and some shit my dad recorded off the radio, like the Village People. Where the hiss was louder than the song. Anyway I moved about a bit, my dad worked for the Royal Greenwich Observatory, got born in South Africa, and lived in Hawaii once. Clearly Scottish parents want to GET OUT of the cold.
Ended up in Bexhill-on-sea. But who's to say I'd be who I am now if I hadn't?"
